When we decided to adopt a puppy, we intended on only getting one, we had looked for months on petfinder and not any dog or puppy for that matter jumped at us, then we came across this litter of adorable pups, I looked at my boyfriend and said one of these little pups are going to be in our home forever! When we came across the litter of pups we had no idea which one to choose, we met all the pups and were torn. We knew we couldn't split them all up after seeing their incredibly tight bond, Gracies charm and Gizmo's innocent face was all it took and we gladly took them both home. And we didn't realize till after bringing them home it had to be fate to get them both, my son's name is Gage, and we adopt Gracie and Gizmo, all G names. We had quite the laugh about that. Gracie and Gizmo have been nothing but a joy in our household. Our home feels complete with them in it. We have had them 4 weeks now, they are growing like weeds! Gizmo the runt now out weighs his sister Gracie. They love to be around each other and play together non stop. And not just because I'm their momma I have to brag at how smart they are, within days of training we have got them to sit on command, shake and lay down is still a work in progress but most times they get it. For the most part they are already potty trained, within 2 weeks of having them 90% of the time they go and sit by our back door when they have to go out. Of course the help of treats helps ;) They have mastered that word. Our 3 year old son loves his puppies more than anything, he loves helping take care of them and also playing with them. He loves going to daycare and bragging about "his" puppies. Gracie has become a mommas baby, anytime shes getting attention from me and Gizmo comes up she has to wrestle with him, it's quite entertaining. We brought them in for their 10 week check up last weekend and Gizmo (the runt of the litter) now weighs 13.3 lbs and Gracie weighs 12.3 lbs. Our vet is pretty convinced the main breed is rot and looks like a shepherd mix in there but for sure a rot mix. We couldn't feel more blessed than we are right now with these two precious pups in our lives. Thank you so very much for allowing us to give them their forever home!
